University of South Carolina President Michael Amiridis mentioned the Carolina Institute for Battery Innovation in his 2025 State of the University Address.
"Our Carolina Institute for Battery Innovation in the USC Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing has been awarded a total of $25.5 million in federal and state funding to date. This institute is focused on advancing grid-scale battery technologies and supporting their commercialization."
