PHENOGY Inc. selects Columbia as future U.S. Headquarters

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–A Swiss based energy company has selected Columbia as the location for its U.S. headquarters.
Tuesday City of Columbia officials announced that PHENOGY Inc. selected the Midlands after a six month discovery period of Southeastern cities.
Officials say PHENOGY Inc. is a global leader in sustainable energy systems with a focus on future-proof and resilient technology battery storage systems.

Company officials say they will begin with opening their headquarters in Columbia and focusing on building their U.S. business development and product teams.

Per a release, “The founding of PHENOGY Inc. in Columbia, South Carolina, marks a significant milestone for PHENOGY,” stated co-founder and CEO, Peter E.
