Undergraduate Research Assistant, LINA
Matthew Hughes is a currently studying his B.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of South Carolina. Previously, he was an Undergraduate Researcher for over a year at the Machine Learning and Evolution Laboratory(MLEG). Here he was mentored by Dr. Jianjun Hu while studying out-of-distribution generalization for the prediction of material properties. Currently, Matt is an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Integrative Neuroscience Analytics(LINA) under the mentorship of Dr. Christian O'Reilly. At LINA, Matt is doing research into Brain-Computer Interface(BCI), in particular he is researching methods for Biometric Authentication using EEG signals.
