Meysam Shirdel completed his Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and is currently a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of South Carolina. He is working as a Graduate Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Christian O’Reilly at the Laboratory for Integrated Neuroscience Analysis (LINA). Currently, he focuses on clustering behavior graphs derived from rodent behavioral patterns. His research interests lie at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science, with a focus on exploring the brain and developing innovative ML/DL algorithms. Neurosymbolic AI also represents a compelling and promising direction within his broader research interests.
