Graduate Research Assistant
Sushmita is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of South Carolina. She holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Technology and has professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer working on computer vision, medical image analysis, and time-series forecasting.
As a research assistant at LINA, her research focuses on applying AI to model human cognition and decode brain function using multimodal data. She is particularly interested in computational neuroscience, medical AI, and developing brain-inspired algorithms to build more adaptable intelligence systems.
