Dr. Sourav Banerjee

Dr. Banerjee, Fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) received his PhD in Engineering Mechanics and Applied Mathematics from the University of Arizona (UofA), Tucson in 2005. Before PhD he received M.Tech in Structural Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Powai, Mumbai, India and B.E. in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), formerly known as BE College. Working on numerous structural health monitoring (SHM) projects for six years with leading aerospace industries he gained tremendous practical experience and  joined USC as a faculty member in January 2012 to fulfil his dream to be a teacher.
