Dr. Zhang was elected a Fellow of ASME. The fellow grade recognizes exceptional engineering achievements and contributions to the engineering profession and to ASME. There are 3278 Fellows out of more than 70,000 ASME members. The fellow grade is truly a distinction among ASME members.
Dr. Zhang is also a Fellow of PHM (Prognostics and Health Management) Society.
