Fredrick Dyer
Fredrick Dyer
Dr. Dryer has more than 45 years of applications-driven research experience in thermal sciences, including heat transfer, fluid dynamics, physical chemistry, and chemical kinetics. His work spans propulsion systems, energy conversion for transportation and power generation, combustion-related emissions and pollutant mitigation, and fire safety in both terrestrial and microgravity environments. His current research focuses on the chemistry and kinetics of conventional and alternative fuels, ignition and combustion processes, emissions formation and control, particle and catalyst interactions, and fire safety. Through this work, Dr. Dryer addresses critical challenges in energy security, emissions reduction, and safe, efficient combustion systems.
