OverView

The Integrated Multiphysics & Systems Engineering Laboratory (iMSEL) at the University of South Carolina perform fundamental and applied research of computational and data-enabled science and engineering (CDS&E) for multiphysics and multiscale systems, including fluid-structural interaction, microfluidics & nanofluidics, additive manufacturing, and energy management.iMSEL is operated within the Department of Mechanical Engineering under supervision of Prof. Yi Wang.

Goal

The overarching goal of our research is to combat formidable CDS&E challenges in real-world engineering and applications and achieve salient performance and cost-effectiveness with fast turnaround.
