BS, Biomedical Engineering

Chris Kibler is pursuing his Ph.D. In Biomedical Engineering under the guidance of Dr. Nichloas Boltin. He received his undergraduate degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana in 2017. Chris worked briefly as a Biomedical Engineer in military technology before enlisting in the United States Army as an Infantryman in October 2018. After one combat deployment to Afghanistan, Chris transferred to Cyber Operations and gained experience as a Senior Analyst and Team Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge on several different teams, conducting and managing missions across a variety of networks and with a number of different partners.

Chris left the service in October 2024 bringing his unique background in Cyber Operations, Biomedical Engineering, and real-world experiences to the academic environment. He is currently working using a multimodal suite of imaging tools to enable contactless measurement of physiological signals. He is also involved with many of the cognitive stress experiments that the lab conducts, and mentors other lab members on topics such as programming and project management.
