Member Benefits

$50,000 is typically leveraged to over $1,000,000 in research (see http://www.nsf.gov/discoveries/disc_summ.jsp?cntn_id=131407&org=CISE)

Member companies form an Industrial Advisory Board to direct the research; faculty provide methods, industry provides input and recommends catalyst compositions and reactions

  • Opportunities to network and partner with thought leaders in the industry
  • Access to potential customers: other petroleum and chemical companies and catalyst manufacturers in the business of catalyst development
  • Early access to technology breakthroughs and potential commercialization through shared IP (see separate IP/Membership Agreement link)
  • Access to graduate students at the forefront of rational catalyst synthesis and development, trained with an industrial outlook
  • Direct input into specific research projects via industrial research advisors
