Dr. Elie Kfoury

Elie Kfoury received the Ph.D. degree in Informatics from the University of South Carolina (USC), in 2023. He is currently an assistant professor in the Integrated Information Technology department at USC. As a member of the Cyberinfrastructure Laboratory, he developed training materials using virtual labs on high-speed networks, TCP congestion control, programmable switches, SDN, and cybersecurity. He is the co-author of a book “High-Speed Networks: A Tutorial”, that is being used nationally for deploying, troubleshooting, and tuning Science DMZ networks. His research interests include P4 programmable data planes, computer networks, cybersecurity, and Blockchain. He previously worked as a research and teaching assistant in the computer science department at the American University of Science and Technology in Beirut.

Ms. Samia Choueiri

Samia Choueiri is a Ph.D. student in the College of Engineering and Computing at the University of South Carolina (USC). Her research interests include SmartNICs, P4 switches, cybersecurity, and robotics.  She received her Masters in Computer and Communications Engineering with emphasis in Mechatronics Engineering from the American University of Science and Technology in Beirut, where she also was a teaching assistant and lab instructor.

Mr. Amith Prabhakara Narasimha

Amith is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the College of Engineering and Computing at the University of South Carolina (UofSC). He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. With over four years of professional experience, Amith has a strong background in developing scalable and user-friendly network web applications, specializing in both front-end and back-end development. His current research interests lie in data-plane programming, with a particular focus on P4 technology.

Mr. Ali Mazloum

Ali is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the College of Engineering and Computing. He earned his computer science bachelor degree from the American University of Beirut (AUB).

Mr. Sergio Elizalde

Sergio is a Ph.D. student in the College of Engineering and Computing at the University of South Carolina (USC). Before joining USC, he received his Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from the Catholic University of Asuncion, Paraguay, where he was also a member of the neuroengineering group.
