Bio

Sarah grew up in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in May 2024 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and began her PhD studies in the Summer of 2024. In SAGE, she is working on the Off Gas Cleanup for Direct-Feed Waste Pretreatment to Accelerate the Hanford Misson and Operations, which is funded by the Department of Energy. Outside of the laboratory, she enjoys spending time outside by going on walks, hiking, running, and playing sports. She also enjoys reading books and listening to country music, and she is also an avid fan of the Steelers football team.
