Josh Widawsky

Joshua Widawsky is the Director of Operations for the Center for Industry Solutions. In this role, he oversees day-to-day operations, supports the execution of strategic initiatives, and helps coordinate projects that connect students, faculty, and industry partners to drive innovation in manufacturing, supply chain, and emerging technologies.

A two-time University of South Carolina graduate, Josh earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and his M.B.A. in Global Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics. His background blends technical knowledge with operational strategy, allowing him to effectively manage complex projects and support cross-functional collaboration.

Josh’s experience at USC includes research at the McNAIR Center for Aerospace Innovation and Research and leadership roles that shaped his approach to problem-solving and team development. He is passionate about creating opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience and emphasizes the importance of building skills beyond the classroom, including communication, leadership, and personal finance.
