Mary Ann Gardiner

Mary Ann Gardiner is a freshman majoring in Aerospace Engineering at the University of South Carolina. As a C4IS fellow in the Digital Product Design & Simulation track, Mary Ann is working on Cerberus, an anomaly-based intrusion detection system powered by machine learning. Her project focuses on identifying unusual system behavior to improve security and reliability in complex digital environments. Through this work, she is developing skills in simulation, data-driven design, and applying machine learning techniques to real-world engineering challenges.
