Dr. Crichigno presented during the 2019 NSF Campus Cyberinfrastructure and Cybersecurity Innovation for Cyberinfrastructure PI Workshop in Minneapolis, September 24 – 25, 2019
Dr. Crichigno presented the advances made by the University of South Carolina (USC) related to Cyberinfrastructure training during the 2019 NSF Campus Cyberinfrastructure and Cybersecurity Innovation for Cyberinfrastructure PI Workshop organized in Minneapolis, September 24 – 25, 2019. During the presentation, he demonstrated the capabilities of the Cyberinfrastructure Lab @ USC (https://netlab.cec.sc.edu) deployed at the University of South Carolina. Currently, the CI Lab is used for virtual training on advanced material related to network tools and protocols used in high-speed networks and Science DMZs, perfSONAR monitoring, cybersecurity and cyberoperations with Bro Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Next-generation Firewalls (NGFWs), and others.
