The SmartState™ Center for Multifunctional Materials and Structures (MFMS)
Currently located at UofSC’s McNAIR Center, MFMS focuses on design, manufacturing, and assembly technology for hybrid composite structures. The MFMS research objective is to design and develop materials, manufacturing technologies, and structure-level solutions for industrial applications. MFMS provides a steady stream of research output and high-quality research graduates to the industry to fuel and support innovation and economic development.
