The SmartState™ Center MFMS is a collaborative program that partners with industries and academia to advance industrial applications to grow South Carolina's knowledge-based economy through aerospace education, research leadership, and industry advancement. Our partners include industries that specialize in aerospace, commercial and military aircraft, advanced manufacturing, structural design, composite materials and textiles, induction heating, automation production, carbon fiber manufacturing, automated systems and robotics, and fiber optics as well as academia that provide advanced research and technological methods.
