Overview

Please join us for this workshop on Wednesday May 21 and Thursday May 22 to learn more tools and techniques for data cyberinfrastructure (CI), data movement, high-performance networks, perfSONAR, BGP, SDN, and more. Learn about science demilitarized zones (Science DMZs) and how to partner with researchers, instructors, and students.

Goal

The goal of the workshop is to help CI engineers, operational staff, managers, researchers, and students build upon their existing knowledge of CI and high-speed networks, to enable data movement for the purposes of research and education.

Intended Audience

CI engineers, operational staff, managers, researchers, and students interested in high-performance networks.

Pre-requisites

  • Basic knowledge of computer networks.
  • Attendees are required to bring their laptops.

Join the Community

Please join the “Cyberinfrastructure Engineering Lunch and Learn (CELL)” community! CELL focuses on practitioners solving real cyber / IT problems faced in their professional lives. The community meets online on Friday afternoons at 2:00pm. For additional information, please refer to: https://www.es.net/science-engagement/ci-engineering-lunch-and-learn-series/
