Overview

Please join us for this free virtual workshop on April 8 from 01:00PM to 05:00PM EDT and April 15, 2021 from 01:00PM to 04:00PM EDT to learn more about tools and techniques for data movement using cyberinfrastructure (CI) design, implementation of high-throughput networks and monitoring of the network, throughput, and performance to ensure traffic is flowing at it should. Learn about science demilitarized zones (Science DMZs) and how to partner with researchers, instructors, and students.

Goals

The goals of the workshop are to help researchers, students, instructors, network engineers, cyberinfrastructure engineers, operational staff, and management build upon their existing knowledge of cyberinfrastructure and high-speed networks to enable data movement for the purposes of research and education . The research and instruction efforts that are taking place in our smaller institutions rely on network enhancements and with the enhancements the need for performance and monitoring tools.

Intended Audience

The audience of this workshop includes researchers, students, instructors, network engineers, cyberinfrastructure engineers, operational staff, and management.
