Overview

Please join us for this workshop on Thursday February 16 from 08:00AM to 04:00PM ET and Friday February 17 from 08:00AM to 01:00PM ET to learn more tools and techniques for data cyberinfrastructure (CI), data movement, high-performance networks, perfSONAR, BGP, P4 programmable switches, SDN and more. Learn about science demilitarized zones (Science DMZs) and how to partner with researchers, instructors, and students.

Goals

The goals of the workshop are to help CI engineers, operational staff, managers, researchers, and students build upon their existing knowledge of CI and high-speed networks, to enable data movement for the purposes of research and education. The research and instruction efforts that are taking place in our institutions rely on network enhancements and with the enhancements the need for performance and monitoring tools.

Intended Audience

The audience of this workshop includes CI engineers, operational staff, managers, researchers, and students interested in high-performance networks.

Pre-requisites

Training activities will be conducted using a virtual platform. Attendees will be provided access to the platform.
